Ynystawe is a small village in the City and County of Swansea situated approximately half a mile from Junction 45 of the M4 motorway in the lower Swansea Valey.

After many years in the lower divisions the club has now established itself as one of the leading clubs in the South Wales Cricket Association. 

The 1st X1 compete in the 2nd Tier of South Wales Premier League,  the 2nd X1 in Division 1 of the  1 and the 3rd X1 play in Division 5 of the South Wales League.

The club also boasts a very successful youth section with teams ranging from under 11 to under 16 and a Midweek X1 who play in the Neath Guardian League.

The club’s biggest achievement to date is winning the National Village Cricket Competition at Lord’s in 2001 defeating Elveston. The club had previously visited Lord’s on two occasions in reaching the finals of the National Indoor League Competition.
